An Omen of Peace? – Snow Falls in Baghdad

An Omen of Peace maybe? Snow fell in Baghdad.

Japan is a peace loving nation. Indeed we all desire peace.

Sadly, peace sometimes comes at a price. After all, there is something that is more important than peace.

Truth.

Yeah, I hear people saying, "Who are you (me) to decide what is truth?"

That's another discussion.

Time cleverly titled their article A Cold Day in Hell: Snow in Baghdad.

I don't believe in omens either. But, I want to.

Iraqis are hoping that the snowfall, the first in more than 60 years, is an omen of peace.

I hope for anything that will lead to making the region more peaceful.

But, not at the expense of truth.

What is truth?
