8 Steps to Kill a Sumo Wrestler
A 17-year old sumo wrestler trainee was beaten to death while being hazed by senior wrestlers, 24-year old Masakazu Kimura and 25-year old Yuichiro Izuka.
The two wrestlers teamed up with two others and beat the younger disciple.
Turns out the younger wrestler was beaten at least 8 times before his death.
1. The pair allegedly slapped the younger wrestler.
2. The pair teamed up with two others and beat the younger wrestler with a stick.
3. The younger wrestler was forced to sit on his heels in a formal position next to his stablemaster. He was slapped each time he moved.
4. The stablemaster hit him in the face with a beer bottle.
5. The young wrestler was tied to a practice post and beat with a stick.
6. The young fellow was beaten for about 15 minutes with the hands of the older wrestlers.
7. The day after heavy drinking, the stablemaster hit the young Saito with a wooden pole.
8. Other wrestlers hit him with poles.
About a half hour after an 11 am training session, the 17-year old Saito collapsed and died.
The stablemaster, Yamamoto, Izuka and Kimura are now under arrest.
Just because the boys are big, doesn't mean it doesn't hurt when you beat on them.
