Can my friends and family visit me when teaching ESL in Japan?

Absolutely.

Japan is a free country, even you still have to pay for everything.

But, family, friends, enemies, too are welcome to the country, welcome to come see the instructor. In fact, it’s fun.

Nothing gets people to working harder, learning more than to know visitors are coming.

Mom and dad are coming, so the instructor works hard to know Japan so that they can show them around. Show off what it is they know, have learned, have become accustomed to.

Girlfriends and boyfriends are great visitors for the same reason.

Enemies are welcomed as well. Chances are they won’t know any Japanese or anything about Japan, so you can take them out, get them lost and enjoy the outcome.

Seriously, invite anyone and everyone to come see you in Japan. Then work hard, study the language and prepare for them to come so that they can enjoy the stay.

The whole process will make you a better worker for your school as well.
