7 Ways to Cook Worms

Yup…somebody in Japan tried to get worm food to catch on.

No, not use worms to catch fish. That's already being done.

Believing that worms will improve the health of women and young children, a company in Aomori has come up with, um, appetizing ways to enjoy the little invertebrates.

Men, thankfully, are glad their health doesn't need any help.

Worms are supposed to be rich in vitamins, amino acids and are good for health including potassium, iron and zinc.

Try them in -

1. Worm burgers – ground up with onions, a little wheat flour, raw egg, blended in milk.

2. Worm chips – mince the worms, cover with bread crumbs and dry them out.

3. Worm sashimi – wipe off the dirt, dip them in garlic oil and eat them wholeworm.food.jpg

4. Worm soup – throw a bunch in a pot, boil slowly, add lemon and use salt or soy sauce to

taste.

5. Worm Tempura

6. Worm Deep Fried

Where are the animal activists when you need them?

How come nobody is saying to let the worms live? Huh? Huh?

Despite Japan's health food kick…the worm dishes have flopped.

Would you like to try a fuzzy worm on that sandwich?

Why not? And if they don't go down well, give them to your fish.
