$3,300 to have dinner with Michael Jackson in Japan

Michael Jackson calls Japan one of his "favorite places in the entire world."

After the singer was acquitted of allegations of child molestation, he forsook his Neverland Ranch and headed into self-imposed exile in Bahrain, France and a castle in Ireland.

Jackson is back in the United States, for now.

In March, however, he plans to attend a fan appreciation event in Japan.michael.jackson.jpg

"My friends and fans in Japan have been so supportive of me and my family for many, many years," he said. "My fans in Japan helped me achieve historic milestones in the music industry."

Jackson loves his fans in Japan especially because 200-300 of them bought tickets at $3,300 a pop to have dinner with him.

The $3,300 will give each fan about 30 secs to one minute each with the singer.

2500 tickets for a party the next day at $125 each are expected to sell out as well.

Yep…that kind of money for an appearance would make Japan one of my favorite places in the whole wide world, too.

What do you think?

Hi! I can`t afford to have this meal with Michael. I`m in fact using this contact to get in touch with him. I`m a poor Brazilian student who`s always loved and will always love Michael for his talent, his personality and all good he`s done to the world, especially children. And I am so happy he`ll be back on stage soon! I wish so much I could see him perform and also talk to him personally… I know I am asking too much, but if there`s any chance to get in touch with him himself it`ll be the greatest gift I will have been given after my own life! Love you Michael.
