$3,300 to have dinner with Michael Jackson in Japan

Michael Jackson calls Japan one of his "favorite places in the entire world."

After the singer was acquitted of allegations of child molestation, he forsook his Neverland Ranch and headed into self-imposed exile in Bahrain, France and a castle in Ireland.

Jackson is back in the United States, for now.

In March, however, he plans to attend a fan appreciation event in Japan.michael.jackson.jpg

"My friends and fans in Japan have been so supportive of me and my family for many, many years," he said. "My fans in Japan helped me achieve historic milestones in the music industry."

Jackson loves his fans in Japan especially because 200-300 of them bought tickets at $3,300 a pop to have dinner with him.

The $3,300 will give each fan about 30 secs to one minute each with the singer.

2500 tickets for a party the next day at $125 each are expected to sell out as well.

Yep…that kind of money for an appearance would make Japan one of my favorite places in the whole wide world, too.

What do you think?
