#33 The Japan-related Web: Final words?

I hope that this series has been a thought provoking one for everyone who has tuned in. Hopefully you have been convinced that whether your motives are "selfish" or selfless you should be collaborating. No doubt many already are (to some extent I am preaching to the choir) and hopefully will continue to collaborate in the future.

Please take these ideas and run with them. They are yours to steal and use.

With any luck these are not final words on the subject of the Japan-related web but the first words in a larger discussion that has just begun. DailyJ will certainly continue to talk about the J-web and I hope you will talk about it on your site too.

I want to take a moment now to thank all of you who have commented and shared your ideas on this series. And I especially want to thank Bill Belew for letting me do this guest blogging series here on RisinSunOfNihon. He is no stranger to this type of collaboration (he has hosted and participated in several Japan Blog Matsuri) and I am sure he will be doing more in the future.

There is one last thing before we end here, something practical we can all starting doing today:

- make a list of your favourite J-sites.

- Get their RSS feeds and add them to you feed reader

- make it a point to comment (when you can) on their sites the way you would want them to comment on yours.

Have a great day everybody!

Thank you for this series, Tori. I have thrown myself into the community, partly due to your enthusiasm to build a “Japan-related web”. Thanks also to Bill for being such a good host.
