Case in point, this guest blogging series.

Bill offered me the opportunity to guest write a series on his blog that would help promote my site.

Here is the critical statement in there: "He offered." That means he took the initiative and he also gave something before he received (he gave me an opportunity). The result? Extra content for his site, perhaps some extra traffic and exposure, and a good reputation among J-bloggers.

Can you do something similar? Of course you can.

Will you benefit from it? Almost certainly.
