2016 Tokyo Olympic Committee Gets a Slap from IOC

The 2016 Tokyo Olympic Bid Committee was given the lightest of three levels of warnings from the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

It seems that the chair of Tokyo 2016 was in Brazil visiting the chairman of the Brazilian Olympic Committee (BOC).

While there Tokyo's man asked Brazil's chairman why they wanted to host the Games AND the 2014 FIFA World Cup?

The BOC reported the quizzing to the IOC saying, "This action runs against the code of conduct which stipulates that cities making a bid (to host the Olympic

Japan's chairman responded, "We humbly accept the warning, which is tantamount to receiving a yellow card."

Do you think Tokyo has a chance to land the Games just 8 years after they are being held in Asia?
