1300 Miles without refueling – Honda SUV needs simulator

Honda Motor Co has an SUV sized vehicle that gets 1,300 miles between fill ups.

The vehicle is so cool, and expensive that it needs a special simulator to learn how to handle it.

It's Honda's HondaJet – small business jet which will be manufactured and marketed in the U.S. in about 3 years.

The pilot training program is part of Honda's marketing ploy to create interest among the super rich.

3-D graphics that closely re-create the experience of flying the HondaJet – sounds like a computer game.

However, Honda Aircraft Co, in cahoots with pilot training FlightSafety International will design the program.honda.jet.simulator.jpg

The simulator will be located in North Carolina at first, then at as many as 14 sales offices around the U.S.

Where would you like to go in your HondaJet?
