Tata Motors Will Challenge Toyota, Honda with Ultracheap $2,500 Car (pic)

Tata Motors of India introduced the "Nano" at the 9th Auto Expo in New Delhi.

With this car, Tata Motors expects to challenge Toyota, Honda and all other comers.

The ultracheap car will go for $2,500, cheaper than some LCD TVs, cheaper than come navigation systems in a Toyota Lexus or Honda Acura.

Tata Motors may not make a lot on each car, but if they sell tens of millions of them to people across India and the world, they will sell more than Toyota, more than GM, more than those two combined AND they don't need a large profit margin…just a profit.

Does this look like a car you would like to drive?
