Whitney Houston wins International Artist of the Year at AMAs

Whitney Houston, singer/actress, made a return to the music world on the American Music Awards 2009.

Whitney Houston, famous for her roles in the “Bodyguard”, “The Preacher’s Wife” among others basked in her new found glory as she sang her new track – Didn’t Know My Own Strength – in a manner that only she could sing.

Her performance was somber and enjoyable and focused in her vocal prowess rather than anything flashy.

Houston is making a comeback after several years, after overcoming several personal problems that were obstacles in her music career.

The singer looked stunning last night and she won the “International Artist of the Year” award.
