Reema Khan born on October 27, 1971  best known by her screen name Reema, is a Pakistani film actress, director and producer who has more than 200 films and multiple awards to her credit.

With her striking beauty, people say she is Pakistan’s answer to India’s former Miss World Aishwarya Rai.

Reema has performed on stage with Bollywood stars, Shah Rukh Khan , Preity Zinta , but says she has turned down countless offers to act in Bollywood movies.

The 29-year-old Reema is the face of international brands, like Lux, Colgate and Pepsi,

“I can’t do kissing scenes or wear a short skirt or a bikini. I’m a Muslim first, and my religion and culture do not allow me to do so,” she said.

“I put a lot of effort into improving myself. I still have a lot of things to do and a long way to go, as learning never ends in the life of an artiste,” New Straits Times Online quoted her as saying.

“If I had taken up the offers I might have got more exposure, but it’s not how I want to be known.

“It’s through my work that I can help to promote my culture, my people, my religion and my country,” she added.
