One of the finest Cricket umpire’s, David Shepherd passed away at the age of 68

Umpire David Shepherd is dead at age 68 after serving as a Test umpire in 93 games and 3 World Cup Finals. David Shepherd’s death comes after a battle with cancer.
Shepherd retired as an umpire in 2005, he previously played for Gloucestershire. As a player, David Shepherd earned 10,672 runs from 1965 to 1979.
Fellow umpire Dickie Bird tells Sky Sports “I feel very saddened this has happened. He was a fine umpire, we spent many happy hours together. He was a great man and a tremendous man to umpire with. He was a good bloke, he’ll be sadly missed and he was a great friend.”
Funeral arrangements have not been announced. Send your love.

His performance was really great as an umpire and he was loved by all in the game, a very peaceful man by nature and a true gentlemen which suited his love for the game of cricket.

As for now, no funeral arrangements have been made and as for the world of cricket from all around the world, cricketers and fans would remember the finest David Shepherd
