Wasim Akram’s wife Huma Dies

Huma Akram, the wife of the legendary Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akram, lost her life at the Apollo Hospital on 25th October morning. She was on her way to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore for treatment in an air ambulance which had to then make an emergency landing in Chennai due to her increasing complications mid-air.

She  and was suffering from sepsis (an inflammation of several tissues, including blood leading to kidney failure). She was admitted to Apollo Hospital on Tuesday.

Wasim Akram has been one of Pakistan’s finest players and is also considered by many to be the best left arm fast bowlers to ever to take part in the game. He has served Pakistan cricket for two decades and has been one of the greatest bowlers international cricket has ever seen,  This has been a great loss for him and his 2 sons.
