For the first time in about 10 years Toyota Motor Corp has made a full makeover of its Land Cruiser luxury SUV.

Toyota Motor says all Land Cruisers have the world's first advanced control system – crawl control – a system that automatically "controls the engine and brakes to maintain a low speed when driving up steep hills and over rough terrain" so that the driver can concentrate on driving.

You mean Toyota hasn't designed a car to drive itself yet?

Some models will have Japan's first kinetic suspension system which controls the front and rear stabilizers to provide mproved performance for both on- and off-roatoyota.new.land.cruiser.jpgd driving.

It has a 4.7 liter V-8 engine, 288 horsepower and is priced at 4.7 million ($40kish).

It is only on sale in Japan….for now….but some 100 markets worldwide, including China, Russia and the Middle East are waiting.
