Toyota Motors is top, Yawn!!, again.

J.D.Power and Associates conducts a vehicle dependency study that is indeed closely watched by car enthusiasts. Car nuts watch everything that have to do with cars….

Still, there are 19 categories of cars that are judged.

Toyota Motors took top honors in eight of them. Japanese cars were tops in 13 of the 19 categories.

Sub-compact – Toyota Echo

Midsize premium – Lexus GS 300/GS 430

Premium Sporty – Lexus SC 430

Large Premium – Lexus LS 430

Compct MAV – Toyota RAV 4

Midsize MAV – Toyota Highlander

Large Pickup – Toyota Tundra  There’s a bunch of redneck cowboys scratching their heads on this one

Midsize Premium MAV – Lexus GX 470

The other Japanese winners were –

Compact Car – Honda Civic

Compact sporty car – Mazda Miata

Compact premium sporty car – Honda S2000

Entry Premium Car – Acura CL

and

Van – Honda Odyssey
