Toyota Challenged by Chevy Silverado with 1 Million Miles

I wonder if Toyota can meet this challenge.

Frank Oresnik will soon have 1,000,000 miles on his pickup truck.

Here's how he did it.

He started with a Chevy Silverado Pickup

2. Changed the oil and gave it a tune up every 3,000 miles.

3. Drove it for 40 hours a week, 16+ years from Chicago to IL, WI and MI.

4. Gave it four radiators as needed.

5. Gave it three gas tanks as needed.

6. Gave it five transmissions as needed.

7. Gave it six water pumps as needed.

I wonder about the springs, the interior, the seats, the bed, the rust…
