PETA Gets a “No” to Wearing Fur from Miss Universe Japan, Riyo Mori

PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, won a victory when Miss Universe Riyo Mori of Japan declared herself an animal lover and vowed to not wear fur anymore.

“I will say this out loud: I will not wear fur,” Mori told AFP. “I love animals and I agree with those who oppose wearing fur products.”

Those people, Miss Mori, are PETA. Repeat after me PETA.

Mori demonstrated her new zeal by refusing to wear any of Fendi’s fur coats on an upcoming trip to China.

One of Mori’s pledge ‘pet’ projects is to draw the attention of pet lovers in Japan.riyo.mori.dumb-thumb.jpg

“I wonder how many children in Africa would starve to death while some people here spend a lot of money on their pets,” Mori said. “We have to think about more than just what’s right in front of us.”

Mori, just 20-years old, is not totally Arrogant and Dumb after all, or is she?
