Now available through sms: sex

We all know the Japanese school uniforms have the side effect of looking so innocent it gets kinky. We also know that “kids these days” are having sex at younger and younger ages. But operating a prostitution ring through sms while you’re still in (junior) high school, that has to be something new.

A group of young girls in Saitama and Tokyo was using coded text messages such as “IkebLURV1700Yukichi2JC1” to offer themselves for sex. They were arrested when police figured out what the text means:

Ikeb = Ikebukuro. The neighborhood that the girl is in.
LURV = “I will have sex with you.”
1700 = Time: 5PM
Yukichi2 = Yukichi Fukuzawa, the guy whose face is on the 10,000 yen note x 2 = I cost 20,000 yen
JC = Joshi Chugakusei (Junior high school girl. JS would be elementary school girl, JK would be high school girl)
1 = Grade 1. In Japan, 1st year of junior high = 7th grade.

Is this due to the popularization of the school uniform? Or just some of todays twisted minds at a young age?
