Lil’ Wayne is going to Jail
The famous Rapper Lil’ Wayne (27) who is famous for the hit track “Lollipop” has been sentenced to 1 year in jail following a plea bargain for a weapons charge.
Lil’ Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter III, was initially charged with 1 count of criminal possession of a weapon and 1 count of criminal possession of a loaded weapon.
Lil’ Wayne agreed to a plea guilty to a count of attempted weapons possession that carried only a 1 year jail term since these charges carried a sentence of 3 and 1/2 years to 15 years in jail.
