Honda Motor Co. made 63% more money this past quarter – July-Sep – than it did in the same quarter last year.

Japan's second biggest carmaker sold Y2.63 trillion ($220 billion).

Profits were up 48%, over $2.2 billion …for one quarter!

The big sellers – its CR-V SUV and the small to midsize fuel-efficient products.

Let's see…I have a CR-V and my son has a CIVIC.

Can you say, 'thank you' Honda?

Honda now expects to make more than $7.2 billion this year on sales of more than $100 billion.

And, America's Big Three….still restructuring.

How long will it be till America's automakers get back in the black?
