Help Wanted: Only Old Male Virgins Need Apply in Japan

In Japan there is a belief that older male virgins are more creative than their sexually active and experienced peers.

Two TV shows have become quite popular in Japan “Densha Otoko” (Train Man) and “Kekkon Dekinai otoko” (The Man Who Can’t Marry). Both are about men who are hopeless around women.

“The 40-Year Old Virgin” just recently was released in Japan but has inspired the creation of a Virgin Film Festival that features movies about lifelong male virgins.

One author in Japan says that male virgins are “far more creative than others.” Too late for me.

A famed Manga artist who has made a career of depicting dotei – male virgins – agrees.

The same artist thinks that uncensored porn on the Net is society’s answer to making sure men choose to remain virgins longer.

“Is having sex all the time really that much fun?” one author asks. Well…it depends on your partner….
