Global Warming More Active in Japan
I read this fodder for the globaly warming nuts, er, activists.
Sea surface temperatures around Japan have risen 0.7 – 1.6C over the past 100 years. This apparently is one and half to three times the world average.
The hottest temps were noted on the Sea of Japan side in the center of Japan. The Pacific side of Japan saw no notable gains.
The Japan Meteorological Agency says “”Global warming is considered one factor, but clear reasons are not known.”
When all else fails, blame it on the sky falling. Why not?
How about extra volcanic activity below the surface? After all, Japan is sitting on the outer lip of a super volcano. No?
What do you think might be the cause?
Oh, and did they measure the sea surface temps 100 years ago? Hmmm….or is that a reverse guestimate?
