Cute Little Japanese Teenage Girls – 1 in 17 Have STDs

Cute little Japanese girl?

1 in 17 teenagers hanging around Tokyo’s Shibuya-ku have been found to be  infected with a sexually transmitted disease (STD).

They were also found lacking in knowledge of STDs.

A survey of Japanese high school students and teenage high school grads revealed that:

1. 68% had had sex

2. 5.8% had contracted an STD.

3. The average number of sex partners – 5.2.

4. Those who had contracted an STD – 37 partners.

Who can keep track of that many?

I lost track after…um…never mind.

5. 80% knew what STD was…

6. 20% knew about it correctly.

7. STDs are 10 times easier to get than to get pregnant.

8. Chlamydia can prevent women from having children.

9. 50% of the surveyed didn’t know AIDS was spreading among young people.

Still think the little teenage girls in Japan are cute?
