An American Gun vs. a Japanese Sickle
A crystal clear difference between Japanese and American society can be seen in an incident reported this morning in the Mainichi News
A 57 year old unemployed man became annoyed when school children got routy while participating in their sports club. So, he grabbed a sickle, climbed a 6 foot high fence and headed for the school grounds.
An American with a gun stormed a one room Amish school house (He could have just walked in) then took hostages.
The Japanese man was subdued, arrested and taken away with no one harmed.
The American shot the girls one by one execution style.
The Japanese man appeared to be drunk.
The American man is dead now…it doesn’t matter.
Does anybody else besides me notice a difference between these two cultures?
What do you think?
