1 Million Hybrids Sold by Toyota in ’10

Toyota is making a mint, um, decreasing the impact that its cars have on the world’s fossil fuel resources. Yeah, saving us for global warming, IF you believe that sort of thing.

By, ’10 the automaker wants 1/10th of its sales to be hybrid vehicles.

Toyota sells 450,000 hybrids a year and wants double that figure and then some within two years.

A fully redesigned Prius hybrid will be out next spring as well as a second hybrid vehicle.

Toyota is not only winning, but winning big. Meanwhile, GM and Ford continue to restructure
