Rihanna, the21-year-old ‘Disturbia’ singer, revealed on Godd Morning America that she regrets returning to ex-boyfriend Chris Brown after he had beaten her. She gave her first full-length interview since her assault by Chris Brown in February.
She told the GMA host Diane Sawyer, “My selfish desire for love could result in some young girl getting killed. I could not be easy with that, responsible for that.” The thought of her battered face makes her feel ashamed and embarrassed that she tolerated the abusive Chris Brown for so long
However, after the whole beating, Rihanna told Sawyer that she was glad it happened to her because now she can become the voice of all women trapped in abusive relationships.
When asked if she hated Chris Brown, Rihanna said, “I want him to do well, to have a good career… and to grow up.”
