Olympia Snowe supports Healthcare bill
Maine Republican Sen. Olympia Snowe — the most talked about lawmaker in Washington as of now– has said that she will support a sweeping healthcare bill being debated by the Senate Finance Committee.
“When history calls, history calls,” she said.
Snowe is the first Republican on Capitol Hill to gather support for the healthcare campaign which is being promoted by President Obama and his Democratic allies in Congress. The committee is to vote on the bill today.
