Lynyrd Skynyrd’s New Album released

Lynyrd Skynyrd, the American rock band which was formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1964, will be releasing their new album called “God & Guns,” -  the band’s first studio album of new material since 2003′s “Vicious Cycle – on the 29th of September 2009.

Some of the song titles include, “Skynyrd Nation,” “Southern Ways,” and “That Ain’t My America.”

The album is a compilation of styles, hard guitar-driven country rock assorted with more country acoustic sections.

The band’s current arrangement is Rossington, Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke and Mark Matejka on guitar, Michael Cartellone on drums, Robert Kearns on bass and Peter Keys on keyboards.

Lynyrd Skynyrd will be doing their fourth Simple Man Cruise, four nights on the open seas with Skynyrd and friends.
