Jessica Lunsford’s murderer dies in hospital
John Couey, the jailed sex offender and murderer of Jessica Lunsford, passed away today in a hospital in Jacksonville.
Couey reportedly kidnapped Jessica from her bedroom in the beginning of 2005, and then buried her alive- which ultimately led to her death.
John Couey was 51 years old. Sources say that he died of natural causes in the state prison system.
John Couey resided in a trailer near Jessica’s home and he was sentenced to death in 2007 for abducting Jessica ad burying her alive in two plastic garbage bags.
