Black Friday is the day After Thanksgiving (Friday) and also commemorates the beginning of the holiday shopping season. In the US, most of the shops have the best sales with early bird specials to draw consumers to their limited deals.
On this day, people wait in line and even stay overnight hours before the shop  is opened, so that they can grab the best deals of the year. The offers could be something like a very expensive  DVD Player costing only  $12.
Bkack Friday is on Friday, November 27th 2009 and is a much awaited day in the American calendar.
