Right Leg Found in Tokyo River for Obvious Reasons

I know…the title sounds a bit stupid. Bear with me.

The portion of a right leg below the knee was found in the Nihombashi River in Tokyo’s Chiyoda Ward.

Investigators want to find the rest of the body while police are suspecting, here’s the obvious, the person may have been the victim of a crime.

“Yo! Taro. Do you mind if I cut off your lower leg? No ill will, mind you. And, it’s not like I am cutting off your pinky the way the Yakuza does.”

“Well, if you aren’t bent on a life of crime…feel free to hack away.”

The sex of the leg, er, the person from where the leg came is not known. Do women’s feet and men’s feet really look that similar?

Worker’s collecting trash on the river discovered the partially decomposed leg.
