Well, fellows, fans of Japanese girls from old, and the new fans who have since been drawn to the fairer of Japan’s sexes by Riyo Mori’s recent crowning as the 2007 Miss Universe…one of Japan’s hottest has tied the knot.
It didn’t, however, keep her from stealing the TV ratings last week.
Either the rest of Japanese television is too boring (very likely the case) or the young lady and her new partner, comedian Tomonori Jinnai, have a very special draw.

40% of viewers in the Kansai (Osaka and Western Japan) area watched a replay of Norika Fujiwara and Tomonori Jinnai’s wedding. A replay!
24.7% of viewers in the Kanto (Tokyo and Eastern Japan) region watched the wedding footage.
Chances are, they viewers wanted to get a glimpse of the 600 other celebrities who attended the event.
A wedding attended by 600 celebrities? Seems more like an Oscar event, no?
