Nintendo will launch Wii TV - Wiinoma.

Anybody with a Wii console and an internet connection will be able to get the Wiinoma channel and its family oriented onslaught of:

1. cartoons

2. brain training quizzes

3. cooking channels

4. educational programs

5. lifestyle shows

All of it orginal in content and exclusively for Nintendo.

Nintendo wants to control your living room and the living room of some 40 million other Wii owners, 18 million of whom have internet connection.

In keeping with the exercise theme, Nintendo will ask owners to carry their televison sets with them everywhere they go….not.

The Wii TV channel, Wiinoma will be like video-on-demand download service.
