RSON will host the January Japan Matsuri.

The topic - .

“How You Remember to Post Things for the Matsuri Each Month”

That’s not true.

The REAL topic -  in keeping with the new year, new year’s resolutions and son on….

“How I Resolve to Make the Most of My Stay in Japan”

What are you doing/have you done/do you resolve to do to get the most out of your life in Japan?

What have you done in the past? What do you know that someone else has done?

What can you do different? What can you recommend to newbies that they might get more out of life in Japan?

What will you do different? Who will hold you accountable?

How about we all meet back here next year to see who did what and what the result was?

We have veterans and rookies, retirees (those who have gone home) and those who haven’t left yet. There are also those who haven’t even gone to Japan yet.

If that’s you - put on your thinking cap. Dip into your creative writing juices and tell us what you think might work.

It’s tim to espouse that sage advice or just plain make some up.

Perhaps you’ve always wished that someone would ask you what you know about Japan? How you did it? How you are doing it.

Well, now I am asking - how can you/I/he/she make the most of their stay in Japan?

Deadline - January 20thish.

Email to wcbelew (at) gmail (dot) com…. and make sure there is smth in the subject line so I know it’s a jbmatsuri link.
