Delicious Looking Delectables You Do NOT Want to Eat - Made in Japan, Made in China

I thought the Japanese were masters at making fake food.

Indeed, we ‘gaijin‘ (foreigners) tend to lick our chops just looking at the displays in the windows.

It really is fake. Trust me, I tried eating one once.

It seems the Chinese can be pretty good at fooling the ‘laowai‘ (foreigners), too.

Except the Chinese contribution is not for display, but for wearing as accessories.

Chocolate faces on custard creme buns….yum!

To be sure, even the natives get a kick out of just how real the displays look. Indeed, they are just plastic.

Call them delicious looking delectables you do not want to eat.
