Japan Says China’s Crackdown in Tibet is Threat to Olympics

Are the Olympics going to smell like politics?

China's crackdown in Tibet…is it going to affect the Olympics? There are an awful lot of people in Hollywood, who most likely couldn't find Tibet on a map if it were the only country colored in red, that would like to see China face up to its treatment of the autonomous region.

Japanese foreign minister urged China to make sure that nothing more happens in Tibet that could cause an impact on the Beijing Olympics.

What kind of impact? Japan staying home maybe?

How many people will need to be killed by the Chinese government's crackdown on protests in the area for the world to hear? to stay home?

Let's hope we don't have to find out.
