#30 The Japan-related Web: The Future. Japanopedia
These next three posts are about innovative sites that are changing Japan-related content on the web. There may be several other sites that also deserve a mention when talking about innovators, but I have chosen these three and I believe they have enormous potential.
They are Japanopedia, Japan-hopper, and JapanSoc.
First Japanopedia.
Some of the main goals of the project are to:
- Create a thorough "Japan survival guide"
- Create a database with short descriptions of as many Japan-related sites as possible
- Promote Japanopedia as a cental location where people can discuss and organise Japan-related projects
Also, from now through February a project to help JapanSoc is being showcased on Japanopedia. There is a section on the wiki explaining JapanSoc and organising contributors around a plan to submit an article to JapanSoc from every blog on a list of 140+ Japan-blogs.
