Toyota introduced its new 2009 Venza at the North American International Auto Show.

The Venza is:

1. crossover sedan

2. produced solely in North America for North America

3. five passenger car that feels like an SUV but looks like a sedan

4. Designed to fill the void in the market

5. 268hp, V-6, with towing capacity of 3,500lbs.

6. 2.7 liter, 4-cylinder version also coming

7. hybrid version in the works

8. designed for young families

9. styled right to appeal to moms/dads, skiers, sport-types and hauling luggage 

Golly, I have a kid on the way….and I have vowed to NEVER buy an SUV.

I might have to reconsider.
