The Toyota Auto Workers Union - The Toyota Labor Group wants all of its workers to get a raise. A whopping Y1,000 ($9) a month raise.
The group has decided that business is good for Toyota group companies.
Higher pay is deserved for the hard worker bees so that they can go out and spend more money, thus stimulating the economy over all.
It's the first time in six years that the labor union has called for a raise with a fixed numerical target.
Toyota has 67,000 some odd employees. What's that number times 1,000 times 12?
So, who's going to pay for that raise?
Prius buyers maybe?
Or can Toyota just not make so much money sometimes?
