Japanese Body Language - 足がない

[あしがない, ashi ga nai] No legs.

I woke up thinking about this one last night. Somehow I forgot it.

I am sure there are others.

This expression is often used to mean, I don't have a car or I don't have a way to get to or from someplace.

To be sure, if a pretty little thing wants to drop a hint that she would like a ride, she would say to her object of affection that she has no legs hoping he would pick up on it and offer her a ride.
