
An Omen of Peace maybe? Snow fell in Baghdad.
Japan is a peace loving nation. Indeed we all desire peace.
Sadly, peace sometimes comes at a price. After all, there is something that is more important than peace.
Truth.
Yeah, I hear people saying, "Who are you (me) to decide what is truth?"
That's another discussion.
Time cleverly titled their article A Cold Day in Hell: Snow in Baghdad.
I don't believe in omens either. But, I want to.
Iraqis are hoping that the snowfall, the first in more than 60 years, is an omen of peace.
I hope for anything that will lead to making the region more peaceful.
But, not at the expense of truth.
