NEC Corp, Japan's Electronics giant, has created a real-time, world-first translator for a cell phone.
The phone is able to instantly turn a traveller's words into English.
"And then God said, 'Let us go down and confuse the language, less they build a tower to come try and find us here in the heavens.
"Uh, never mind, the translator doesn't make that much sense and it can only do English."
"Hey pencil man. Give me a Japan, please."
It might be neat if it worked. But then what fun would that be?
