Music To Our Ears from Toyota - Violin Playing Robot

Toyota Motor Corp. has something that will bring music to our ears.

Not a new car, or technology but a violin playing robot.

The robot is five foot tall and plays "Pomp and Circumstance."

Graduation is in a couple of months at Japanese colleges.

Toyota's prez says that robotics will be a core business for the company in coming years.

Diversification for Toyota?

Seems so - partner robots and robots for hospitals is the aim.

"We want to create robots that are useful for people in everyday life," says the president.

Yeah, but will they be hybrid robots?
