The portable player is able to play videos as well as music.
Called the Creative Zen 32GB, it will have the capacity to store some 8,000 songs or around 110 hours of video.
It will also have a slot for an SD memory card.
The new model will be sold online for Y39,800 ($350), just 7,000 yen more than the company's 16GB model.
Competing portable music players that also use flash memory -, Apple Inc.'s iPod and Sony Corp.'s Walkman, currently have a maximum capacity of 16GB.
