PSPs in Japan Sell at 1 Million in Two Months

Sony Corp has sold 1 million Playstation Portable (PSP) units in two months since it went on sale.

The pace is faster than the original.

The PSP is supposed to compete with Nintendo's hot-selling DS.

Women are the target as well as the core male gamer.

Sony wants to sell 10 million units by March, 2008, the fiscal year end.

Nintendo wants to sell 28 million units.

Microsoft is in the fray with Nintendo and Sony for the console game but has nothing to offer in the portable video game market.

Which do you prefer, the Wii or the PSP?
