
Japan and China plan to pool resources to set up an Asian-wide anticancer network.
The two countries will establish a medical information network.
South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and Mongolia are also being invited to participate.
A symposium will be held in Nanjing, China to kick off the collaboration.
The hope is to lead to development of cancer drugs.
The feeling - Asians have different physical strength, size and other racial factor
s and would thus respond differently to cancer drugs developed in the West.Asians have more stomach, lung and liver cancer than their western counterparts.

Half of the world's 7 million cancer fatalities happen in Asia....and China is growing.
