Japan's robotic industry leads the world.

Japan's robotic industry will continue to grow.

Pressed by an aging society and fewer workers, Japan has turned to robots.

Most of Japan's humaniod robots help out in manufacturing - cars, electronics and so on.

This year Japan will produce a record $6.5 billion worth of robots…up 4.1% says the Japan Robot Association.

Growth will be about the same next year.

Y1 trillion worth by 2010.

Flat panel and LCD televisions are fueling the need for more 'workers.'

China wants more computers, cell phones, digital electronic products and flat screen tvs, too.

And Japan's elderly are in need of someone to care for them as well…enter care robots like this one from the Kangawa Institute of Technology.

South Korea, China and India can't compete says the Japan association.
