Covering the economic and industrial might of Japan

The 2016 Tokyo Olympic Logo was unveiled.

Of course, the venue for the Games have not been decided and will not be decided until October 2nd, 2009 in Copenhagen, Denmark. 

Chicago is another city that is making a bid, but it's logo was bounced because it violated IOC rules and regulations.

Tokyo 2016 Press Release -

"This logo, our MUSUBI knot, integrates the values that underpin both the Olympic Movement and Tokyo 2016. It ties together sport and culture, urban and natural environment, Japan and the world, the world and peace".

Tokyo may be required to make changes....but for now -

 Chicago's failed idea.
