Top Five Market Share Holders of PCs in Japan - NEC Leads

Japanese bought more flat-panel TVs than new PCs last year.

Microsoft Corp's delay of Windows Vista till early this year caused many Japanese to hold off buying a new PC as well.

Consequently, PC sales were down 2.3% in 2006. But market share did not change.
